About Ayelet
Ayelet Blumberg graduated Suma Cum Laude from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford with a BFA in Acting. She has since been seen in numerous New York City stage productions, which have provided her with glowing reviews. Ayelet has also appeared in various Independent and Student Films as well as commercials. Today, Ayelet continues her training by attending classes with coach Allen Savage and is currently seeking representation for Film and TV.
Born in Israel, Ayelet began her performing arts career as a classical ballet dancer at the age of six. At eight years old, Ayelet and her family moved to America and her ballet training took off. While training at the University of Louisville Dance Academy, a visiting acting professor suggested that she also explore acting as he sensed she had a natural talent for it.
Heeding his advice, Ayelet took summer classes with Stage One, a Children’s Equity Theater. Subsequently Ayelet was cast in Romeo & Juliet with Stage One and there began her acting career (and her passion for Shakespeare's works).
At age 16 Ayelet shifted her primary focus from ballet to acting. To develop her skills, she enrolled at Walden Theatre, an after-school conservatory that provides "the opportunity for young people to grow and develop through the comprehensive study of theatre." With help and guidance from her teachers at Walden she was accepted to The Hartt School.
Ayelet has also studied with actors and directors from The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Bordsley Institute in Birmingham, England and attended the summer program at Circle In The Square Theatre School in Manhattan.
